My Story

I've always been the creative type. I was an only child so to entertain myself, I would create. Making dolls, drawing, turning egg cartons into stoplights (I took them into my teacher who used the project for the classroom during saftey week! BOY was I a proud elementary student!).

As I grew up, I searched for that "safe" job the one that would allow me to make a living. By the time I reached 40 I had worked in makeup, dental assisting, a shoe store, banks, interior design, retail management....well you get the idea, along the way I also did shows with the hand painted ceramic dinnerware I made, this was very heavy, dirty, hard work.

I finally gave up the ceramics and moved into painting full time on canvas and mixed media which I truly love, the mixed media combines all the things I love to experiment with and I feel truly free to create without any rules. I also paint on small glass pendants which are delightful to create!

I feel truly blessed that I am able to create my artwork full time and can't wait to see where this creative journey takes me.
